Casa de Ramana Rehabilitation Success Story
Daniel is a 52 year old resident at Casa De Ramana who has goals to discharge into the community and to begin working or volunteering. Prior to starting therapy with this team he was very deconditioned, with significant medical co-morbidities, and multiple medications. Daniel was not getting out of bed and was totally dependent for all care and mobility. Since starting therapy Daniel is getting in his wheelchair 5-7 days a week and is working with therapy on functional transfers, self care, and strengthening. We are also working with Daniel to obtain a motorized wheelchair with National Seating and Mobility.
